About the Role

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are thrilled to partner with Tesco to help candidates secure rewarding employment opportunities. Tesco is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Tesco Colleague to join the team at the Stretford Extra store in Trafford.

This is a dynamic, people-focused role offering plenty of variety and everyday challenges. Working across service, picking, and replenishment areas, you will help ensure store operations run smoothly, stock is handled safely, and shoppers receive a brilliant experience.

Availability & Working Hours

• Contracted Hours: 27 hours per week (guaranteed minimum hours policy applies, with options to discuss flexibility down to 12 hours if preferred).

• Required Night / Evening Availability Window:

  • Sunday: 21:00 – 06:00

  • Monday: 21:00 – 06:00

  • Thursday: 24:00 – 04:30

  • Friday: 21:00 – 06:00

  • Saturday: 21:00 – 06:00

• Note: You will receive 3 weeks' notice of your exact shift schedules. Applicants must be over 18 years of age due to the night shift working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations: Work flexibly across service, picking, and replenishment areas, and occasionally handle incoming store deliveries.

• Product & Stock Management: Handle products with care to maintain high quality, reduce waste, and ensure shelves are ready for customers.

• Safety & Compliance: Put your training into practice to work safely, effectively, and follow all store policies.

• Team & Community Spirit: Build positive relationships with colleagues to foster a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.

What You Will Need

• A passion for delivering great service and working well within a team environment.

• The ability to take the initiative, make right-for-customer decisions, and communicate openly.

• Reliability, punctuality, and pride in being a brand ambassador.

• Must be over 18 years old (due to working before 6:15 AM / after 9:45 PM) and have passed the school leaver's age.
