About the Opportunity
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with BAE Systems—a global leader in defence, aerospace, and security—to recruit an ambitious and analytical Graduate Air Project Management & Control professional in Lancashire.
As part of the world-renowned Air Team, you will support the development, manufacture, and sustainment of legendary combat and fast jet trainer aircraft, including the Typhoon, F-35, and Tempest. This graduate role offers a fantastic foundation in delivering effective project outcomes within a complex, high-stakes business environment.
Role Overview
As a Project Management & Control Graduate, you will learn and apply vital project management and project controls principles across the complete project lifecycle. You will support the establishment and maintenance of Performance Measurement Baselines, manage risks and opportunities, and assist with change control processes to ensure strict governance and budget alignment.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and track project spending against spend profiles, collaborating closely with Project Teams to address deviations promptly.
Support and contribute to the Baseline Change Control process.
Help develop detailed project plans, mapping out key milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements through stakeholder engagement and resilience.
Assist the Project Manager in the successful delivery and day-to-day execution of the project.
Support the creation of detailed and summary schedules for continuous project monitoring and reporting.
Coordinate projects to ensure risk registers are maintained up-to-date, supporting risk reviews and presenting status updates in monthly meetings.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Academic Background: Must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree (or a pass at Master's level) in a STEM subject, or fields including Business, Finance, Legal, Project Management, or IT.
Working Arrangement: Willingness and capability to work on-site in Lancashire 3 days per week.
Security Clearance: All applicants must achieve, as a minimum, the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Note: Due to security and export control restrictions, candidates must meet nationality, birthplace, and residency criteria.
