About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with our client to recruit a driven and enthusiastic Customer Team Leader in Inverness.
In this exciting leadership role, you will take the next step toward managing your own store by leading a small team in a fast-paced environment. Whether you are working on the shop floor, supporting postal/bakery services, or coordinating home delivery support, you'll play a vital role in delivering essential services and making life easier for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading your shift, motivating, coaching, and supporting your team to deliver efficient operations and great service.
Store Operations: Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, setting the pace for Customer Team Members while supporting store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
Community & Membership: Champion the Co-op brand through active community engagement and driving membership growth.
Candidate Requirements
Age Requirement: Must be aged 18 or over to authorize age-related sales.
Core Skills: A passion for people and leadership, the ability to work flexibly, and a knack for leading by example.
Experience: Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management are fantastic, but previous experience is not essential as full training and development resources are provided.
Shift Availability: A mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (either Friday after 6:00 PM, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday). Working patterns to be discussed further at interview.
