Position: Advanced Practitioner (Clinical Assessment Service)
Location: Anstey Frith House, Leicester, LE3 8RN
Salary: DHU Band 8b.0, £64,234 – £74,905 per annum (pro rata), enhanced by 30% for evening work and 45% for weekend work
Contract Type / Working Pattern: Permanent and bank hours available, covering weekday evenings and weekend days, afternoons, and evenings (part-time hours operated on a 4-week rolling rota)

As an Advanced Practitioner with our supportive bridge staffing agency, you will step into a vital role within our Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) at Anstey Frith House, where making critical decisions changes lives every single day. Operating as an autonomous clinician within our urgent and emergency care network, you will deliver expert telephone consultations to assess, diagnose, advise, treat, prescribe for, and refer patients presenting with a diverse range of urgent healthcare needs.
Deliver autonomous clinical care and telephone triage, safely managing patients with broad urgent and emergency conditions.
Assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe, and direct patients to the most appropriate care pathways using advanced clinical reasoning.
Utilize advanced clinical decision-making skills to ensure safe, effective, and timely patient-centred outcomes.
Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of clinical governance and responsive care delivery.
Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist with active professional registration (NMC, HCPC, or GPhC).
Valid independent non-medical prescribing rights with consolidated prescribing experience.
Formal Level 7 clinical assessment and examination skills.
Demonstrated capability in autonomous clinical practice and remote or telephone-based triage/assessment.
