About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to recruit a reliable and compassionate Bank Kitchen Assistant for Chater Lodge Care Home.
In this flexible, casual role, you will help provide the first-class food and hospitality that enable us to give our residents exceptional all-round care and support. A healthy, nutritious diet is vital to ensuring residents’ wellbeing and helping them enjoy daily life. Providing cover for planned or unplanned absences, you will help produce meals and create a fulfilling dining experience, while having plenty of opportunities to get to know residents and enhance their hospitality experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the production and preparation of healthy, nutritious meals.
Help maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
Create a warm, welcoming, and fulfilling dining experience for residents.
Build positive relationships with residents, extending your impact beyond the kitchen.
Provide flexible cover for planned and unplanned absences (such as annual leave or sick leave).

Reliable, considerate, and caring in your approach.
Flexible with work patterns to support varying shift requirements.
Committed to maintaining high standards in the kitchen and food preparation process.
Note: Formal qualifications are not necessary, though previous commercial or care-setting experience is advantageous.
