Location: The Lakes Care Centre, Spine Road East, South Cerney, Cirencester, GL7 5TL
Pay Rate: Up to £14.53 per hour (with higher weekend pay rates available)
Contract Type: Permanent / 21 hours per week

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find a skilled and reliable Handy Person for The Lakes Care Centre in South Cerney.

As our Handy Person, you will take immense pride in keeping our environment safe, modern, and well-maintained—ensuring our residents and their families enjoy a secure and welcoming home.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the overall fabric of the building, including heating, lighting, and surrounding gardens.
Conduct regular routine checks on boilers, water systems, and complete vital health and safety compliance checks.
Build friendly relationships with residents and their families, welcoming them to get involved where appropriate.
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive extended family team dedicated to high safety and care standards.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in a similar maintenance role with strong practical skills (Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Facilities Services or equivalent is a bonus, but not essential).
Attributes: Comfortable working in an elderly care setting with a sensitive, caring manner towards residents.
Readiness: Confident working on your own initiative with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
