We are proud to partner with Circle Health Group—Britain’s leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Nurse for the Oncology Department at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow.
Deliver expert, patient-centred nursing care across outpatient, inpatient, day-case, and ambulatory settings.
Undertake specialist clinical assessments, contributing to holistic care planning, symptom management, and ongoing reviews.
Act as a clinical expert in colorectal cancer pathways, supporting patients through diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and survivorship care.
Serve as a key point of contact for patients and families, improving continuity of care, coordination, and informed decision-making.
Provide essential emotional, psychological, and practical support to patients and carers throughout their cancer journey.
Support the safe delivery of systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT) and disease-specific services where appropriately trained.
Monitor treatment side effects and complications, escalating concerns appropriately while promoting dignity, respect, and compassion.
Registration: Adult Registered Nurse with a valid and active NMC registration.
Experience: Significant post-registration experience in Oncology and/or Haematology nursing, with essential experience in Colorectal or Lower GI care.
Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in cancer care pathways, symptom management, clinical governance, and patient safety frameworks.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Cancer Nursing (Level 6/7) and SACT training/experience are highly desirable.
Background: Previous experience working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or within acute hospital oncology / private healthcare services is advantageous.
Competitive Salary: Up to £55,000 per year.
