Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to source exceptional culinary professionals. We are currently recruiting a Bank Chef for Claremont Parkway Care Home on a casual, flexible basis.
In this rewarding role, you will deliver hotel and restaurant standards using fresh, seasonal food while enjoying an excellent work-life balance without split shifts and long weeks. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, well-balanced menus tailored directly to our residents, driving person-centred hospitality in an accredited, top-tier healthcare environment.
What We Are Looking For (Need to Have)
Qualifications: Hold City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent culinary qualifications.
Experience: Proven experience working with fresh, seasonal food, understanding HACCP, and helping lead/inspire a kitchen team.
Attributes: A warm, personable approach with a genuine passion for resident wellbeing and high-quality cooking.
Key Responsibilities (Need to Do)
Help manage the kitchen and motivate the team in the Head Chef’s absence.
Prepare high-quality, wholesome dishes using fresh produce.
Maintain budgets, stock control, and complete regular kitchen audits.
Foster a warm, efficient, and fun dining environment.
