The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Test Manager to support a critical business systems programme. This role will suit someone who enjoys balancing high-level test management responsibilities with hands-on testing activities, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, analysts, and third-party vendors.
You will take ownership of test execution across a specialist operational platform, acting as the vital link between the business, technology teams, and external suppliers to ensure top-tier quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive test planning, test execution, and end-to-end defect management.
Create, manage, and maintain robust test scripts and test documentation.
Work closely with business users and subject matter experts to understand complex operational processes.
Support, coordinate, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Manage relationships and coordination with third-party vendors and business-critical integrated systems.
Balance strategic test management oversight with hands-on testing tasks.
What We’re Looking For
Proven background in test planning, test execution, and defect management.
Experience working with TBA products and business-critical integrated systems.
Demonstrated capability in creating test scripts and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams.
Previous experience working within the manufacturing or logistics industries.
Comfort operating in a hybrid capacity that requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution.
Note: This is a contract role based in Liverpool, requiring candidates to be onsite 4 days per week when required.
