Schedule: 2 days (12 hours / 07:00–19:00) / 2 nights (12 hours / 19:00–07:00) / 4 days stand down (includes 1 rostered duty cover shift).

As a Security Officer at RAF Brize Norton—the RAF's largest operational base—you will play a frontline role in maintaining the integrity, security, and smooth traffic flow of this critical site. Your work will ensure that colleagues, visitors, and contractors experience a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment every single day.
Visitor Reception: Provide a professional, friendly, and welcoming presence for all visitors, contractors, and staff.
Access Control: Rigorously control pedestrian and vehicle access, checking IDs and passes with absolute accuracy.
Security & Response: Assist with security searches, airfield pass checks, and emergency response protocols when required.
Escort & Traffic Management: Deliver vehicle escort duties and efficient traffic management services across the base.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, operational records, and detailed incident reports.
We are looking for reliable professionals who thrive in disciplined, structured environments and possess a customer-focused mindset.
Licensing & Vetting: Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence training and UK Security Vetting (UKSV) clearance, or the ability to successfully obtain them (including BPSS and SC clearance standards).
Driving Licence: A full UK manual driving licence with a maximum of six points.
Airfield Requirements: The ability to meet the color perception requirements needed to secure an Airfield Driving Permit.
Core Skills: Excellent communication skills, unwavering reliability, punctuality, and the flexibility to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
