Location: Broad Oak Manor Care Home, Arnolds Lane, Sutton-at-Hone, Dartford, Kent DA4 9HF (Note: Due to the location, own transport is required)
Rate of Pay: £13.10 to £14.10 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (44 hours per week, covering days and nights)

We are partnering with Broad Oak Manor Care Home in Dartford—a beautiful Edwardian manor holding a "Good" CQC rating and an exceptional 9.8/10 score on carehome.co.uk—to find a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant. Set within a peaceful village surrounded by landscaped gardens, Broad Oak Manor provides residential, nursing, respite, and palliative care with a charming, community-focused feel.
As a Care Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will be at the heart of delivering person-centred care that supports independence and honours choice. You will provide daily companionship, personal care, and meaningful physical and mental stimulation to help residents live a life they truly love.
Key Responsibilities
Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements, from companionship to personal care.
Observe and manage resident behaviour with care, documenting and reporting any changes in accordance with required legislation.
Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plans.
Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
What We Are Looking For
Highly motivated, positive, and equipped with great interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
Must have own transport due to the home's location.
