Clinical Deputy Manager

Working alongside and deputizing for the Home Manager, you will serve as the home's lead clinical expert. You will oversee the delivery of high-quality pastoral and clinical care, manage residents with complex care needs, lead auditing procedures, and maintain rigorous clinical governance standards across all care home operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and deputize for the Home Manager, providing clinical leadership and supervising nursing and care personnel.

• Lead clinical assessments, care plan development, walk-through rounds, and continuous auditing of clinical practices and procedures.

• Oversee care for residents with complex needs in strict compliance with current clinical guidelines and regulatory governance.

Requirements

• Valid NMC Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with active registration.

• Proven expertise in care planning, clinical assessment tools, and auditing within a care home or healthcare setting.

• Demonstrated leadership qualities, strong decision-making abilities, and a commitment to driving continuous clinical improvement.
