As our "Chief Fun Officer," you will create a vibrant, joy-filled atmosphere for our residents by designing and executing exciting activities, events, and hobbies. From arts and crafts and baking to book clubs, pub quizzes, and gentle exercise, you will bring people together for laughter, camaraderie, and therapeutic wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Run engaging morning and afternoon activity sessions, tailored to resident interests and abilities.
Produce and manage an activity planner while working within a set activities budget.
Organize special birthday surprises and meaningful one-to-one sessions (such as reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading, or a chat over tea).
Liaise with external companies and local community performers to organize memorable days out and events at the home.
Support the home's social media channels to showcase community life and events.
A creative thinker packed with ideas, who can also manage budgets, paperwork, and shifting priorities effectively.
An infectious enthusiasm, great sense of humour, and a genuine desire to make people's lives better.
A compassionate, caring nature dedicated to building meaningful connections with residents and care teams.
