Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Five Rivers Child Care Ltd to recruit a dedicated and motivated Social Worker for their Doncaster Fostering Service on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This temporary position is designed to provide maternity cover and ensure seamless continuity of high-quality support across our existing fostering caseload.
Operating on a home-based model with regular regional travel, you will join an experienced, supportive team committed to achieving exceptional outcomes for children and young people. Working within our Attachment and Trauma-Informed Care (ATIC) model, you will benefit from manageable workloads and cross-disciplinary support from psychologists, therapeutic practitioners, and business support coordinators, empowering you to focus entirely on delivering impactful interventions.
Carer Supervision: Provide high-quality support, supervision, and regular monitoring to foster carers across the Doncaster region.
Collaboration: Work closely with foster families, local authorities, and internal professionals to champion safe, stable, and nurturing placements.
Trauma-Informed Practice: Embed our progressive therapeutic framework into daily casework to promote positive behavioral and emotional outcomes for children.
Caseload Management: Effectively manage a varied workload independently, ensuring timely visits, reviews, and safety compliance.
Qualifications & Registration: A recognised formal Social Work qualification and active registration with Social Work England.
Experience: Demonstrated professional experience working with children, young people, and families.
Mobility & Compliance: A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes, and the Right to Work in the UK.

Financial Package: Competitive salary of £33,755 - £38,772 p.a. (DOE) complemented by a car allowance and an company pension scheme.
