Position: HGV Class 2 Driver Loader (Trade Waste)
Location: Cawleys Luton, Covent Garden Close, Luton, LU4 8QB
Salary/Rate: £36,566.76 per annum (£14.60 per hour) + premium overtime rates (1.5x Monday – Saturday, 2x Sunday and Bank Holidays plus a day in lieu)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 48 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 04:00 AM – 14:21 PM)

Key Responsibilities
Driving & Trade Waste Collection: Safely drive and operate trade waste vehicles, collecting commercial waste and recycling from various customer sites while handling loading duties.
Service Excellence: Deliver a high standard of professional customer service while working collaboratively as part of a hard-working, supportive team.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all customer and company health and safety rules and regulations at all times.
Working Pattern: Contracted 48 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 04:00 AM to 14:21 PM, with excellent opportunities for enhanced overtime.

What We Are Looking For
Licence & Qualifications: A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, an in-date Driver CPC card, and a valid tachograph card are all essential.
Experience: Previous experience in the waste industry or working with recycling vehicles and roll-on-roll-off containers is desirable, but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
Attitude & Skills: A passion for professional driving, good communication skills, a reliable work ethic, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
