Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant (Bank) - Day

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading private hospital in Glasgow, UK, to recruit a dedicated Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant for day shifts. In this role, you will be key to maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all areas of the facility.

Working on a flexible bank contract basis, you will support day and weekend operations on an ad-hoc schedule. You will work efficiently within a supportive team to ensure that clinical and non-clinical spaces remain safe, welcoming, and pristine for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and prepare a variety of clinical wards, patient rooms, and non-clinical facility areas.

• Safely operate powered cleaning equipment while following COSHH and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) standards.

• Organise tasks effectively during day and weekend shifts to maintain a safe and comfortable environment without disturbing patient care.

Requirements

• Active PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme membership or clear status.

• Practical understanding of COSHH guidelines and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) best practices.

• Flexible availability for day and weekend shifts, with a detail-oriented and team-focused approach.
