Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to join a modern Fitness & Wellbeing facility in Bristol, UK. In this role, you will play an active part in helping members of all ages improve their technique, build confidence, and achieve their personal aquatic goals.
Working on a flexible bank contract basis, you will deliver high-quality lessons on an ad-hoc schedule, with regular opportunities available during weekday afternoons and weekends. You will bring energy, expertise, and a positive teaching style to foster a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one and group swimming lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels.
Utilize the Swim England teaching framework to monitor participant progress and ensure proper water safety procedures.
Promote facility amenities and swim programs to members while acting as an encouraging role model.
Requirements
ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a student-focused, supportive approach.
Flexibility to work ad-hoc hours, including late afternoons (16:00–18:00) or weekend shifts.
