The Opportunity

At Supportive Bridge Staffing, we believe that every role plays a vital part in building a great environment. We are currently recruiting a conscientious, thorough, and pride-driven Store Cleaner to join the team at a premier, fast-growing supermarket brand at their Christchurch store.

In this role, you are an essential part of daily operations. Every sweep of your brush helps give customers the exceptional shopping experience they deserve. From keeping the shop floor immaculate to maintaining the outside spaces, you’ll be the key person ensuring the store makes a brilliant first impression.

What You’ll Earn & Receive

• Hourly Rate: £13.45 - £14.45 per hour

• Premium Pay: An additional £2.00/hr for Bank Holidays and £3.50/hr for night shifts (where applicable)

• Holiday: 30–35 days of annual leave (pro rata)

What You’ll Do

• Store Maintenance: Thoroughly maintain the store floor and communal areas to keep them looking their very best.

• First Impressions: Keep trolley bays, the car park, and outside spaces completely clean and tidy.

• Equipment Operations: Confidently and safely operate industrial cleaning machinery (training provided).

• Hygiene Standards: Clean the staff welfare areas, including toilets, as well as managing the waste and recycling sections.

• Safety & Minor Fixes: Proactively uphold health, safety, and hygiene guidelines, carrying out minor maintenance tasks when needed.

What You’ll Need

• A hands-on approach, a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, and a keen eye for detail.

• Drive and independence to manage your tasks efficiently without constant supervision.

• A passion to do the best job possible for your store and team.

• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is beneficial, but not essential—we welcome entry-level applicants!
