About the Role
Are you a retail superstar passionate about making a real difference? As a staffing partner, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for this dynamic Shop Assistant position on behalf of our valued charity client.
In this role, you will help run a vibrant, customer-focused high street shop that acts as the welcoming face of the organization in Aberdeen. From working on the shop floor and operating the till to sorting stock and creating striking visual displays behind the scenes, you'll play an essential part in spreading kindness and supporting those in crisis.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations: Assist the Shop Manager in running a lucrative, customer-focussed shop and maintaining high retail standards.
Customer Service & Sales: Act as the primary point of contact on the shop floor, provide an exceptional customer experience, and handle till operations.
Merchandising & Displays: Create striking, appealing product displays to attract shoppers.
Stock Management: Take responsibility for sorting donated stock and preparing items for the sales floor behind the scenes.
What We Are Looking For
Retail Experience: Previous background working in a retail environment with confidence in handling money.
Communication Skills: A strong communicator who thrives on customer service and enjoys meeting people from all walks of life.
Commercial Mindset: Basic commercial awareness and a grasp of hitting targets.
Customer-Centric Focus: Ability to anticipate customer needs and deliver delightful, supportive service.
