Position: Care Assistant / Bank Care Assistant
Location: St Wilfrid's Priory Care Home, 2 London Road, Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 9BZ (Set in a beautiful, unique Grade II listed historic building offering warmth and tranquility)
Pay Rate: £13.67 per hour (Monday–Friday) | £14.07 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Bank / Flexible (0 Hours - Bank shifts covering annual leave and sickness as required)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Bank / Relief Care Assistant for St Wilfrid's Priory Care Home in Arundel. Set within a stunning Grade II listed former priory, our unique care home is specifically designed to enhance residents' quality of life, promoting a feeling of warmth, comfort, and peaceful tranquility while specializing in residential and respite care.
As a Care Assistant, you will make a real, lasting difference by supporting residents with daily routines, personal care (such as washing, bathing, and mobility), and meaningful social engagement. While some days may bring challenges, you will also share laughs, make lasting memories, and become a valued part of our extended family.
Person-Centred Care: Support residents with personal care routines and daily living tasks with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Companionship & Wellbeing: Build meaningful, long-lasting relationships with residents, providing emotional support and a friendly, cheerful presence.
Engagement: Encourage residents to take part in daily activities, helping them lead happy, fulfilled lives within our historic and tranquil surroundings.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider care team to maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing living environment.
Experience: Both experienced carers and those completely new to the care sector are warmly welcomed! We provide comprehensive induction training and ongoing professional development.

Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect easily and positively with residents, families, and colleagues.
Competitive Pay: £13.67 per hour Mon–Fri, increasing to £14.07 per hour on weekends.
