About the Role
We are partnering with Knight's Grove Care Home in Southampton to find a compassionate and dedicated Bank Care Assistant. Knight's Grove is dedicated to delivering person-centred care that supports independence and honours choice, ensuring residents live a life they truly love.
As a Bank Care Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will be at the heart of this mission. You will provide vital support ranging from companionship and personal care to nutrition and recreational stimulation, helping residents live longer, healthier, happier lives.
Key Responsibilities
Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements, from companionship to personal care.
Observe and manage resident behaviour with care, documenting and reporting any changes in accordance with required legislation.
Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.

Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
