Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our trusted healthcare and estates partners for a skilled Plumber.
Based out of Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert, you will play a vital role in keeping a busy acute hospital running safely and smoothly. Your work will ensure that patients, clinical teams, and visitors can rely on safe, compliant, and well-maintained water and plumbing systems every day. From planned preventative maintenance to reactive repairs, your expertise will directly support infection prevention and patient care infrastructure.
Preventative Maintenance: Deliver planned preventative maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment, ensuring full compliance with statutory and operational requirements.
Reactive Repairs: Carry out reactive plumbing maintenance, including the repair and replacement of pipework, sanitaryware, valves, and associated infrastructure.
Valves & Water Safety: Service, maintain, and test thermostatic mixing valves in alignment with NHS Health Technical Memoranda, supporting temperature monitoring, flushing regimes, and legionella prevention.
Compliance Documentation: Accurately complete maintenance and compliance records utilizing CAFM systems.
Collaborative Working: Partner closely with estates colleagues, contractors, and clinical staff to minimize disruption to hospital operations and patient care.
Qualifications: A completed plumbing apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
Industry Experience: Proven hands-on experience in plumbing maintenance within a large building or estate environment.
Specialist Knowledge: Practical experience servicing thermostatic mixing valves, alongside a solid understanding of legionella control and water hygiene compliance.
Digital Literacy: Confidence using CAFM systems and completing digital maintenance records.
Vetting Requirement: Successful membership of the PVG Scheme and completion of an Occupational Health Questionnaire.
Competitive Compensation: Base salary between £31,537 and £34,303 per annum with regular reviews.
