Position: HGV Class 2 RoRo / Specialist Vehicle Driver
Location: Mitcham, CR4 3BQ (Surrey)
Salary/Rate: £39,935.43 per annum (£17.01 per hour) + £500 retention bonus (paid after successful 6-month probation) + overtime opportunities
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday 04:00 AM – 14:00 PM, plus working every other Saturday morning from 04:00 AM – 10:00 AM)

About the Role
We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit an experienced HGV Driver - RoRo for their team in Mitcham. If you hold a current Class 2 licence and have experience operating specialist vehicles—such as Roll-On Roll-Off (RoRo), Front End Loaders (FEL), or Skip Lorries—this permanent role offers early-morning stability, fantastic earning potential, and a great opportunity to make a real environmental impact in commercial waste management.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Specialist Operation: Safely drive and operate Roll-On Roll-Off (RoRo) vehicles (or FEL/Skip lorries) to collect industrial and commercial waste from various customer sites.
Service Excellence: Deliver a high standard of professional customer service while working effectively both independently and as part of a hard-working team.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all customer and company health and safety rules and regulations at all times.
Working Pattern & Bank Holidays: Contracted 45 hours per week with 04:00 AM starts, working alternate Saturday mornings, and required to work 4 out of 8 Bank Holidays (paid at double time plus a day in lieu).

What We Are Looking For
Licence & Qualifications: A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence, a valid Driver CPC card, and a valid tachograph card are essential.
Experience: Previous experience operating at least one specialist vehicle type—RoRo, FEL, or Skip—is required.
Attitude & Skills: A reliable and professional attitude, a good understanding of health and safety procedures, strong communication skills, and comfort with lone working and loading responsibilities.
