As a Warehouse Cleaner, you will ensure our distribution warehouse remains spotless, hygienic, and safe throughout the night shift. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations/Distribution & Recycling Department Shift Leader, you’ll work alongside a motivated team to keep all areas—from loading bays to car parks—clean and tidy. You'll roll up your sleeves, minimize hazards, and play an essential part in keeping our logistics hub operating smoothly.
Core Responsibilities:
General Cleaning: Clean all warehouse areas, including floors and fixtures, and mop up spillages promptly.
Hazard Minimization: Remove and dispose of waste packaging from the warehouse floor to minimize trip hazards.
Station Upkeep: Ensure "clean as you go" stations are fully stocked with essential supplies like tissue rolls and hazard signs.
Safety & Access: Keep all fire exits completely clear of blockages and litter at all times.
Recycling Management: Empty recycling stations and transport waste materials safely to the designated Recycling areas.
Equipment Operation: Confidently operate specialized cleaning machinery.
Standards Compliance: Proactively make sure that hygiene, corporate guidelines, and Health and Safety standards are rigorously met.
