As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a dedicated and caring Housekeeper for The Lakes Care Centre. Situated in South Cerney, Cirencester, this 64-bed care home provides high-quality day, respite, residential, and dementia care in a warm, comfortable setting, proudly holding a 9.8 rating on Carehome.co.uk and a "Good" rating from the CQC.
Our housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring every room and living space is safe, welcoming, and comfortable for residents and their families. You’ll use specialised equipment and materials to champion infection control, while enjoying sweet moments with residents who occasionally love to pitch in with light cleaning or laundry tasks!
Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain pristine standards of cleanliness across all rooms, communal areas, and living spaces.
Infection Control: Champion health and safety guidelines using specialised equipment and cleaning materials.
Resident Interaction: Build sensitive, caring relationships with residents, occasionally involving them in light housekeeping or laundry routines.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider care team to ensure a safe, warm, and immaculate home environment.
Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is wonderful, but not essential—we provide full training for candidates new to the profession!
Compassion: Comfortable working in an elderly care setting with a sensitive, respectful approach to residents.
Attitude: Someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, enjoys being part of a friendly team, and is eager to learn.
Competitive Pay: £13.38 per hour with additional enhancements for weekends and relevant NVQ qualifications.
