As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a vibrant, creative, and enthusiastic Activities Co-ordinator for Edwardstow Court. Situated in the heart of the Cotswold market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, this 48-bed care home offers compassionate, individualised residential, dementia, respite, and day care in a comfortable, homely setting.
Our homes are lively, joyful communities, and you will play a central role in maintaining that atmosphere. As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will design and deliver an ongoing programme of stimulating events, hobbies, and entertainment tailored to our residents' individual needs—helping them stay active, independent, and full of joy.
Programme Planning: Create and deliver a diverse, engaging calendar of group and one-to-one activities that promote wellbeing and independence.
Resident Engagement: Get to know residents' personal histories, hobbies, and passions to design meaningful experiences and create lasting memories.
Community Links: Connect with the local community, inviting external groups, performers, and volunteers into the home to enrich residents' lives.
Team & Family Involvement: Encourage colleagues, relatives, and friends to participate in events and support a vibrant home atmosphere.
Experience: Previous experience in organizing and delivering activities, or a background working with elderly people in a residential care setting.
Personality: A naturally outgoing, creative, and compassionate individual who is confident engaging with residents, families, and the wider community.
Attitude: A positive, energetic, and person-centred approach dedicated to ensuring residents lead full and active lives.
Competitive Pay: £14.22 per hour, with higher pay rates for weekend shifts.
