Position: EC&I Maintenance Technician (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation)
Location: Severnside Energy Recovery Centre, Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: £48,466 to £60,584 per annum (dependent on experience) + £3,000 call-out allowance + up to 10% annual bonus
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 07:45 – 15:45)

We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit a skilled EC&I Maintenance Technician for their cutting-edge Energy Recovery Centre in Avonmouth. Key Responsibilities
Reactive & Planned Maintenance: Deliver expert maintenance on advanced control and instrumentation systems to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility.
Specialist Systems: Provide hands-on expertise and troubleshooting for complex plant equipment, including Continuous Emission Monitors (CEMs) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
Fault-Finding: Carry out precise PLC and instrumentation fault-finding, resolving technical issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Safety & Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a multi-skilled engineering team, supporting cross-functional colleagues and contributing to safe systems of work and continuous site improvement.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: A completed engineering apprenticeship with a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3, plus a suitable health and safety qualification (e.g., IOSH) and City & Guilds 2377 PAT testing certification.
Experience & Skills: Proven experience with PLC systems, instrumentation troubleshooting, and specialist equipment (such as DCS and CEMs).
