Operations Manager
About this role
As an Operations Manager, you will oversee daily site operations, audit requirements, and safety protocols across the facility. You will mentor staff, implement commercial sales initiatives within front-of-house and duty teams, and provide technical guidance to maintain outstanding operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, risk assessments, and internal audit standards across all site facilities.
Lead, recruit, and develop team members, embedding a commercially focused sales culture across duty management and reception.
Support the General Manager by offering technical guidance, driving continuous improvement in site standards, and overseeing daily facility workflows.
Requirements
Proven operational management background within the leisure, health club, or hospitality industries.
Qualified National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) Assessor with a track record of team leadership and performance management.
Relevant Health & Safety qualification is highly desirable, alongside strong leadership, communication, and commercial skills.
