We are seeking a warm, motivated, and caring Care Assistant to join our team on a permanent part-time contract. In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our community, providing personalized care and meaningful companionship to ensure our residents live a life they truly love.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements, from daily companionship to personal care.
Monitor and manage resident wellbeing, accurately documenting and reporting any changes in accordance with legislation and care plans.
Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them during mealtimes.
Provide physical and mental stimulation through engaging social and recreational activities, both individually and in groups.
Maintain accurate care records in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
A naturally caring, positive, and empathetic disposition with great interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Desirable: Previous experience working in a care home environment or holding a relevant Health and Social Care qualification.
