The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced SCADA Specialist to lead testing, integration, and deployment across complex SCADA/EMS (Electricity) environments.

In this critical role, you will work closely with utilities providers, system integrators, and technical delivery teams to support the implementation of SCADA/EMS solutions within complex Transmission and Distribution environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional, non-functional, integration, and acceptance testing for SCADA/EMS environments.

• Develop comprehensive test scenarios and cases to validate PowerOn Reliance (PoR) against business, operational, and technical requirements.

• Configure PoR components across the wider technology stack, including Application, Database, Reports, FEP, Historian, DPF, and Proxy Servers.

• Integrate PoR seamlessly with external enterprise applications and system interfaces.

• Collaborate closely with utilities, system integrators, Product Owners, and delivery teams in Agile environments using tools like JIRA and XRAY.

• Manage testing cycles, defects, risks, and delivery milestones effectively.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive background (10+ years highly desirable) across SCADA implementation, integration, testing, and operational support.

• Hands-on experience with PowerOn Reliance (PoR), including configuration and modules such as Group Telecontrol, Automation, System Tracing, Symbol Design, and Alarm Configuration.

• Strong knowledge of power systems and OT environments, including IEC 101/104, IEC 61850, GI 74, NERC CIP, SCADA data flows, cartography/network modeling, and Windows/Linux server environments.

• Ability to operate in an Agile framework and manage deliverables using tools like JIRA/XRAY.

• Security Clearance & Location Note: Active SC Clearance is required for hybrid working (2–3 days onsite in Woking). Candidates without active SC clearance are welcome to apply, but the role will require 5 days onsite in Woking.
