Position: Community Coordinator — 1-Year Fixed Term Contract
Location: Ellesmere Port, Neston, and surrounding local areas (CH66 1SY)
Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week
Salary: £25,987.00 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

This exciting 1-year fixed-term role allows you to use your creativity, organisation, and people skills to shape engaging local activities that make a lasting difference.
Activity Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and deliver a varied, engaging programme of social groups, lunch clubs, outings, and wellbeing sessions.
Community Growth: Develop new community groups based on local needs, participant feedback, and your own creative ideas.
Administration & Support: Manage event bookings, maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, and oversee established groups like the Ellesmere Port and Neston lunch clubs.
Refreshments & Hospitality: Prepare and serve light refreshments and support food-based activities as required by local funding and need.
Background & Experience: We welcome diverse backgrounds! Experience in hospitality, retail, education, events, community development, volunteering, customer service, or health and social care is ideal.
Special Skills: Additional interests such as music, fitness, adult education, nutrition, or wellbeing activities are a huge bonus.
Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic, highly organised, able to work independently, and gifted at building positive relationships.
Essential Requirements: Good IT and administrative skills (Microsoft Word & Excel) along with a full driving licence and access to a car for local travel across the area.
