Provide essential administrative and clerical support for vital adult social care services in Bradford!
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Bradford Council to recruit a flexible and experienced Business Support Officer to join the Department of Adult Social Care, Health and Housing, predominantly supporting the Sensory Needs Service and the wider Older People’s Service.
Based at the Morley Street Resource Centre, you will play a key role in delivering an efficient, customer-focused administrative, clerical, and reception service for colleagues, members of the public, and external agencies.
As Business Support Officer, you will handle generic and service-specific administrative duties while ensuring prompt, effective communication and information delivery. Key responsibilities include:
Administrative & Clerical Support: Providing a flexible, proficient, and constructive clerical and administrative service for Older People’s Services and the Sensory Needs Service.
Reception & Customer Service: Acting as a welcoming, professional point of contact, dealing with enquiries from colleagues, members of the public, other public sector bodies, and external agencies.
Information & Access: Providing prompt and effective information, advice, and access to services provided by the department.
English Language Fluency: Meeting public sector English language fluency requirements for customer-facing roles as outlined in the Immigration Act 2016.

Proven experience in a busy administrative, clerical, or reception environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate required fluency in English for customer-facing duties.
