Location: Wisbech (Producing premium chilled ready-to-cook meals for major retailers like Sainsbury's, Aldi, and Co-Op with a team of over 525 colleagues)
Pay Rate: £14.67 per hour
Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off (Days: 07:00 – 19:00; Note: Training may require a temporary start time of 18:15)

Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their major facility in Wisbech, we are currently seeking a motivated and confident Factory Team Leader to lead, support, and inspire shift teams, ensuring production targets and rigorous quality standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Motivation: Lead by example, support, and motivate colleagues throughout the shift, fostering a positive, professional, and supportive working environment.
Workflow & Task Allocation: Organize team workloads, allocate daily tasks to meet required timescales, and ensure smooth day-to-day running of the production floor.
Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, and GMP standards, making sure correct equipment and PPE are utilized at all times.
Performance & Documentation: Monitor performance, complete and check accurate paperwork on time, support training and development, and assist with investigations into any production or quality concerns.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience leading, supervising, or supporting a team within a production, food manufacturing, or similar fast-paced environment.
Skills & Knowledge: A strong understanding of manufacturing standards and the importance of Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures.
Core Attributes: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, confidence in handling day-to-day issues, resilience under pressure, and a willingness to be hands-on when needed.
