On behalf of Shropshire Leisure Trust, we are recruiting an enthusiastic, customer-focused Swimming Teacher. You will deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons following the Swim England learn-to-swim framework, helping build water confidence and life-saving skills for swimmers of all ages and backgrounds.
Deliver Engaging Lessons: Run fun, safe, and structured swimming sessions following the proven Swim England framework.
Inclusive Coaching: Welcome and adapt teaching styles for students of all age groups and skill levels, from beginners to competitive hopefuls.
Water Safety: Maintain a safe pool environment, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all participants at all times.
Progress Tracking: Monitor and encourage student development, celebrating milestones and fostering a lifelong love for swimming.
We are looking for customer-focused individuals who share a passion for fitness and community health.
Qualifications: Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or a Swim England (ASA) Level 2 qualification.
Advantageous Certifications: A valid RLSS UK NPLQ, NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is a plus (though free training can be provided if needed).
