Pharmacy Technician

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join an onsite pharmacy team serving premier private hospital facilities across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, UK. In this flexible bank position, you will assist in providing comprehensive hospital pharmacy services, dispensing medications, and managing stock replenishment.

Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and clinical teams within state-of-the-art facilities, you will ensure the efficient distribution of pharmaceutical supplies to inpatient wards and specialized outpatient departments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking for ad-hoc shifts within a high-standard healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the accurate dispensing of prescription medications for hospital inpatients and outpatient departments.

• Manage pharmacy procurement, stock taking, inventory distribution, and routine ward replenishment across clinical units.

• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists, clinical staff, and multidisciplinary hospital teams during departmental operational meetings.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or recognized equivalent qualification).

• Active professional registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

• Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience or 2 years of community pharmacy experience, with strong IT, organizational, and communication skills.
