The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will act as a vital bridge between the main kitchen and our residents, assisting our chefs in delivering nutritious, well-crafted meals and ensuring smooth, hygienic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the welcoming link between the main kitchen and our residents during meal times.
Assist chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and maintaining immaculate cleanliness in all preparation areas.
Monitor stock rotation and strictly comply with company policies, COSHH, and HACCP guidelines.
Assist with catering for special events and community celebrations, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
What We Are Looking For
A genuine passion for food with previous hands-on kitchen experience.
A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a warm, person-centred approach when interacting with residents and team members.
