Position: Night Carer / Night Care Assistant
Location: Larkrise Care Centre, Prescott Close, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 0RD
Pay Rate: £14.85 per hour (plus weekend and NVQ enhancements available)
Shift Times: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday to Friday, with flexible bank working options)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Bank Night Care Assistant for Larkrise Care Centre. Located on a quiet street in Banbury, this specialist 60-bed care home offers compassionate, individualised residential, dementia, and nursing care in calm, friendly, and comfortable surroundings designed to promote reminiscence therapy and enhance quality of life.
Working through the night, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, secure, and looked after. From assisting with night-time routines and personal care (such as washing, bathing, and toileting) to offering reassuring companionship, you will help create a calm, peaceful, and fulfilled environment.
Night-Time Support: Assist residents with personal care routines and night-time needs with utmost dignity, respect, and compassion.
Safety & Comfort: Maintain a calm, secure, and nurturing environment throughout the night shift.
Companionship & Care: Build warm, meaningful connections, bringing comfort and reassurance to residents when they need it most.
Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly as part of our extended family team, upholding exceptional standards of care.
Experience: Both experienced night carers and those completely new to the care sector are welcome to apply! We provide comprehensive induction training and ongoing development.
Personality: A kind, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for supporting older individuals.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
Competitive Pay: £14.85 per hour, with higher rates for weekends and relevant NVQs.
