Location: Anstey Frith House, Leicester Road, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RN
Salary: DHU Band 8a.0, £55,276 – £62,421 per annum (pro rata), enhanced by 30% for evening work and 45% for weekend work
Contract Type / Working Pattern: Bank Contract and part-time weekend hours, 15–25 hours per week (covering days, afternoons, and evenings)

About the Role
As a Clinical Practitioner with our supportive bridge staffing agency, you will step into an essential role within our Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) at Anstey Frith House, where every shift is a chance to make a real difference. Operating as an autonomous clinician, you will deliver urgent care at the point of need through expert telephone triage, assessing, advising, treating, and referring patients across a broad range of urgent healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform autonomous clinical assessments and telephone triage, safely managing patients with diverse urgent healthcare presentations.
Provide evidence-based clinical advice and determine the most appropriate care pathways to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
Utilize strong clinical decision-making, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary urgent care environment to maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical governance.
Essential Criteria
Registered Nurse or Paramedic with valid active registration (NMC or HCPC).
Proven experience in autonomous clinical practice and telephone triage or urgent care assessment.
Strong clinical judgement, robust decision-making skills, and confidence in managing acute patient pathways.
