Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF) and Bradford Council to recruit a highly organized and detail-conscious Pension System Developer to join their dynamic IT team.
In this vital role, you will play a key part in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of pension fund operations, working alongside external and internal development teams supporting multiple clients to drive ongoing success and growth.
As a Pension System Developer, you will build, test, and optimize software systems and database scripts to improve pension administration and workflow. Key responsibilities include:
Software Updates & Testing: Testing and implementing software updates to improve pension scheme administration.
Process Automation & Efficiencies: Developing and introducing efficiencies, cost savings, and database scripts to automate processes and improve data integrity.
Workflow Enhancement: Supporting and enhancing the electronic workflow system for staff, employers, members, and pensioners.
Technical Support & Training: Providing technical support, training, and demonstrations to staff and external bodies.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensuring quality assurance procedures are followed, acting on audit recommendations, and handling confidential information securely.
Reporting & Leadership: Providing management reports and statistical data. At advanced levels, mentoring junior staff, managing projects, and representing WYPF at forums and meetings.
We are looking for a skilled technical professional who brings:
Strong software development, database scripting, and system support experience.
Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong communication skills with experience providing technical support, training, or stakeholder collaboration.
