Position: Care Assistant (Days)
Location: Erskine Hall Care Home, Northwood, HA6 3PA
Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM), requiring flexibility to work Monday to Sunday, including alternate weekends.

The Role
As a Care Assistant on day shifts, you will be right at the heart of delivering person-centred care that champions independence, dignity, and choice. You will support residents in living a vibrant, fulfilling life within a warm, family-like environment, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are fully met.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements, from daily companionship to personal care.
Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care, documenting and reporting any changes in line with regulatory legislation.
Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them according to their individual care plans.
Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans compliant with legal requirements.
What We Are Looking For
High motivation, positivity, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a formal Health and Social Care qualification.
Flexibility to work day shifts from Monday to Sunday, including alternate weekends.
