Nursery Nurse

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of Supportive Bridge Limited for a passionate and qualified Nursery Nurse (Early Years Educator) to join their Nuffy Bear Day Nursery team at Medway Fitness & Wellbeing Club in Medway, UK.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years within a unique wellbeing-focused nursery setting. Working 40 hours per week, you will implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, support developmental milestones, and help build a strong foundation for each child's health and learning.

Role Description

As a Nursery Nurse / Early Years Educator, you will provide full-day and sessional care, plan age-appropriate developmental activities, and maintain open lines of communication with parents and carers. You will help deliver unique learning opportunities—including swimming lessons for children over three—while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and compliant early years environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years following the EYFS curriculum.

• Plan and execute age-appropriate learning and wellbeing activities tailored to individual child development.

• Maintain regular, effective communication with parents, carers, and external healthcare or educational professionals.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare Studies (or equivalent / NNEB) with experience in a nursery or early years setting.

• Paediatric First Aid qualification is preferred; willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check is required.

• Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for early childhood development and learning.
