As a Senior Care Assistant (Night), you will take responsibility for overseeing shift routines, managing care team members, and ensuring individual resident care plans are delivered to high standards. You will combine hands-on personal care with team guidance and clear record-keeping throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
Lead care staff during night shifts, guiding daily duties and ensuring compassionate, person-centered support.
Assist residents with personal care routines, hygiene, bedtime preparation, and morning wake-up support.
Maintain detailed care records and communicate effectively with the oncoming day shift team.
Requirements
NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 preferred, or willingness to complete upon appointment).
Essential previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant within a care home setting, including team leadership experience.
Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Barnsley, UK.
