About the Role
We are recruiting a permanent, part-time Housekeeping Assistant to join the housekeeping team at Edingley Lodge Care Home in Newark.
In this essential role, you will play a direct part in creating a warm, homely, and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Working day shifts for 18 hours per week, you will carry out a variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks to ensure the home remains clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine domestic duties, including cleaning resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal living spaces.
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene throughout the home.
Use cleaning materials, equipment, and chemicals safely according to COSHH guidelines.
Interact warmly and respectfully with residents to maintain a comfortable, homely atmosphere.
Support the wider home team in maintaining stock levels and hygiene standards.
