Salary: £13.25 to £14.84 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (44 hours per week, covering days)

About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant working through our supportive bridge staffing agency at Broad Oak Manor, you will play a vital leadership role in a beautiful Edwardian manor house setting. Known for its peaceful village location and exceptional care ratings, Broad Oak Manor provides residential, nursing, and specialist palliative care.
In this role, you will be pivotal in running a unit, driving a dedicated team of Care Assistants, and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of personalized, dignified care. You will also receive training on innovative digital care systems to help streamline your work and focus entirely on clinical excellence and resident wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Unit Leadership & Management: Take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, leading shift handovers, and managing a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional personal care.
Clinical & Nursing Support: Assist nurses with clinical duties, including observing and monitoring residents, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
Staff Mentorship: Help train, supervise, and mentor new staff members so they feel welcomed, supported, and confident in their duties.
Holistic & Personal Care: Assist residents with a range of personal care needs while building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and external professionals like GPs and District Nurses.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Completed or actively working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Care (full support provided if needed).
Previous experience in a senior care role with a solid understanding of its rewards and challenges.
Highly motivated, positive, and equipped with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
