Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a dedicated, compassionate, and versatile permanent Recovery Coordinator to join their multidisciplinary team based in Wisbech.
In this vital role, you will assess and engage with service users and their families, ensuring they access the right interventions at the right time. Beyond traditional casework, you will design, prepare, and deliver structured content within group settings and workshops (such as anger management, sleep disorders, and relationships), helping individuals reduce harm, build resilience, and achieve meaningful social reintegration.
Caseload & Care Planning: Support service users from initial entry through their recovery journey, providing screening, risk assessment, recovery planning, and advocacy.
Group Work & Workshops: Research, design, and facilitate structured group sessions, pods, and tailored workshops addressing specific service user needs.
Harm Reduction & Reintegration: Deliver harm reduction strategies, promote community/carer involvement, and foster peer support and self-determination.
Collaboration & Evaluation: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, conducting post-group debriefs and reviews with co-facilitators.
Experience & Knowledge: Strong understanding of substance misuse issues, mental health interventions, and experience working within a similar support field.
Group Work Experience: Proven experience working with groups or pods and successfully managing group dynamics, conflict, or challenging behavior.
Core Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good IT proficiency, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to time management.
Requirements: Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service during the first five years (up to 30 days).
