Join the dedicated multidisciplinary team at Thornford Park in Thatcham. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in driving excellence in medication management, supporting clinical governance, and contributing to the recovery and wellbeing of individuals with mental health needs.
What You Will Be Doing
Work alongside GP services, nursing teams, and pharmacy providers to ensure timely ordering, dispensing, and receipt of medications on site.
Oversee safe medication storage and act immediately on company safety alerts to prioritize service user safety.
Attend monthly multidisciplinary meetings, contribute to clinical governance, and participate in clinical audits to drive continuous service improvement.
Provide visibility and pharmacy expertise across both clinical and non-clinical departments throughout the working week.
Deliver relevant staff training on medication management and maintain full compliance with GPhC guidance and company policies.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Active General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Registration.
Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians (or BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences), or equivalent experience and qualifications.
A minimum of two years of supervised, practical experience working in a pharmacy setting.
Strong communication, collaborative skills, and a commitment to high standards of patient safety.
