Position Overview

• Role: Youth Engagement & Early Careers Internship

• Location: Hybrid between home and London offices (EC2Y 9AL)

• Salary: £24,479 per annum (plus Inner London Weighting of £3,344 pro rata, if residing & working in London)

• Hours: 35 hours per week (Mon – Fri)

• Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (6 months, November 2026 – May 2027)

• Closing Date: 23:59 on Sunday, 27th September 2026

In this role, you will support projects that help young people access opportunities, build confidence, and develop career resilience. Working collaboratively across teams, you will gather insights from young people, contribute to youth engagement activities, and help make paid opportunities more accessible and inclusive.

Key Responsibilities

• Youth Insights & Feedback: Engage directly with young people to gather feedback that shapes projects, resources, and career pathways.

• Event Support: Assist in coordinating and supporting youth engagement events, workshops, and activities.

• Data & Recruitment Analysis: Analyse recruitment data relating to young people to identify barriers and improve access to paid opportunities.

• Resource Development: Create case studies, resources, and insights that champion career resilience and early careers initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

• Eligibility: Open to young people aged 18–25 who can commit to a full-time placement from November 2026 to May 2027.

• Passion & Interest: A genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people and fostering positive opportunities.

• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Organisation & IT Skills: Good time-management skills, ability to balance competing priorities, and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
