Experience: A background within professional kitchens and an understanding of how to run kitchen operations smoothly
Dietary Knowledge: Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements is highly desirable
Flexibility: As a bank role on a zero-hour contract, you must have the flexibility to work as and when required, including weekdays and weekends
Menu Planning: Collaborating with the home manager and resident requests to develop exciting menu ideas. Our homes frequently host themed days and events where you can showcase your culinary skills and creativity!
Understanding Dietary Needs: Working closely with the wider staff to ensure we are meeting our residents' specific nutritional and dietary requirements, including modified food textures and allergies.
Kitchen Management: Acting as the main point of contact for the kitchen, taking responsibility for day-to-day stock management, and upholding strict hygiene standards.
