About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistant for Whitefriars Care Home. Situated in a quiet residential location close to the historic centre of Stamford, Whitefriars provides friendly, person-centred residential and dementia care for up to 56 residents.
As a night carer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and secure throughout the night. Beyond supporting nighttime routines and personal care, you will bring warmth, kindness, and dignity to our residents, helping them maintain a happy and fulfilling lifestyle even after dark.
Key Responsibilities
Nighttime Support: Assist residents with personal care routines (washing, bathing, and toileting) with dignity and respect.
Safety & Wellbeing: Monitor and maintain a safe, calm, and reassuring environment throughout the night hours.
Relationship Building: Form meaningful, positive relationships with residents, offering comfort and reassurance whenever needed.
Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the wider night care team to ensure high standards of care are consistently delivered.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Both experienced carers and those new to the care sector are welcome to apply! We provide full, comprehensive induction training.
Personality: A kind, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of elderly residents.
Communication: Great communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
