Location: Cedars Care Home, Church Walk, Bourne, PE10 9UQ (supporting care homes in and around the region)
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour + Bank enhancement of 12.07%
Contract Type: Bank (Casual, Part-Time / Flexible Working)
Shifts: Days only (flexible hours across multiple locations)
Closing Date: 6 September 2026

Partnering with Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are recruiting for a flexible Regional Bank Chef to support Barchester care homes in and around the region. Enjoy hotel- and restaurant-standard culinary work working days only, with no split shifts or long hours. As a Regional Bank Chef, you will have full autonomy in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus, taking ownership of your kitchen, leading team development, and engaging directly with residents to tailor meals around their preferences.
What You Need to Have
Qualifications: Hold City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent certification.
Experience: Proven experience working with fresh, seasonal food, coupled with a good understanding of nutrition.
Knowledge & Skills: Good understanding of HACCP, COSHH, and front-of-house coordination to ensure high dining standards. (Knowledge of modified diets using the IDDSI framework is a bonus—full training provided if new to care!)
